All views expressed on this site are my own. They do not necessarily reflect those of the Parish of Bursledon, the Diocese of Winchester or the Church of England. As such, I do not expect them all to be popular but you, the reader, can certainly expect them to be honest.

Couple of mentions of Bangalore grinding to a halt because of the Benny Hinn meetings there. One of them refers to an article asking a couple of interesting questions such as "were only the 'cured' allowed on stage?" and "if Hinn has [met the Pope] why can't he heal the ailing Pope?" Now, I've never been to a meeting led by Hinn, although I do know people who have, but what I'll offer is a perspective from the Vineyard-influenced Anglican corner I occupy. Our whole theology of healing, and our expectations of what happens when we seek to minister are based in contradictions. God heals, and does not heal being one of them. We don't know why not everyone gets healed (there are many complex theological discussions as to why this is, I don't really understand them fully, and they're too long to post here really), but we (and presumably Hinn too) seek to be faithful to Biblical commandments to pray for the sick that they might be healed.

Uploaded new gimp packages - version 2.2.3

Joe: Was everyone wearing silver foil outfits? Planets are a little bit like a smaller, more exclusive version of Usenet aren't they? Seems like Miguel has sorted his datestamps too. The Beagle demos rock hard, man that's one nice piece of software. Don't have the energy to build the right versions of all its deps on 9.1, but when I upgrade to 9.2, I'll be getting packages out the door as soon as possible.

Sent Tomboy patch to do the rpmbuild -ba --with suse tomboy.spec magic off - silly me had a space out of place which was why it wasn't working.
